The Body Awareness Method® is the result of the investigative work I have
conducted over the years while training the many professional and amateur Tango
dancers who have come to me for classes at my studio. The method was developed
out of their growth process. <br />
<br />
My observations have led me to the conclusion that with the help of supervised
training, catering to the individual’s needs, it is possible to accelerate
growth. Furthermore the process may be made painless and even pleasant, as the
individual limitations and the frustrations these cause are lessened.<br />
<br />
Normally, we learn to dance by copying the instructor, whose movements we try
to re-create with our own bodies. The learning process, however, can be made
more efficient as the individual becomes aware of his body, its limitations and
how to tackle them. </span></span></span><br />

El Body Awareness Método® es el resultado de la investigación en el
entrenamiento de bailarines de Tango que he ido perfeccionando con la
experiencia y el crecimiento de muchos profesionales y amateurs que han pasado
por mi sala. <br />
<br />
De esta experiencia concluyo que con un entrenamiento dirigido y específico,
los resultados en el proceso de crecimiento pueden ser mucho mas rápidos y
placenteros, pudiendo disminuir (minimizar) las frustraciones que se generan
por las limitaciones.<br />
<br />
Normalmente aprendemos a bailar imitando los movimientos que vemos del profesor
o bailarín y luego tratamos de recrearlos en nuestro propio cuerpo.<br />
<br />
Este proceso de aprendizaje podría ser mas eficiente si uno se daría cuenta
primero de cómo esta su cuerpo, qué limitaciones tiene y cómo atacar específicamente
éstas limitaciones. </span><br />
